Post 1: Autobiography

My name is Ignacia Annais Oyarce Cea, I was born on December 9 in 1998, in a small town in sout of Chile, Chillán. Known for its thermal waters, the cathedral and the sausages. My parents are separated but we have a good family relationship and I have two older sisters who are like my mothers, because we are more than 10 years apart. So I'm more sister to my nephews and nieces.
I like to read, listen to music, travel and my favorite pet is cats. I have had many and now I have a gray cat of two years called Luna.

When I was a girl I studied at the Colegio Hispano Americano, where I made many friends and practiced rhythmic gymnastics. During high school I studied at the Insuco, a commercial high school. Here I discovered that I liked journalism, thanks to a competition where we had to read newspapers and then compete with other schools.
Although I had a tough fight between the story, which I still love, and journalism. Finally I decided the latter because I considered it more versatile and entertaining.
I'm currently studying at the University of Chile located in Santiago, for this reason I had to leave my home and move 403 kilometers to north to start my new future.

Sometimes I miss my city and my family but "the end justifies the means" so little by little I got used to this great city and I like it more and more.

Post 10: Evaluation of Blog Experience

Writing the blogs I found entertaining also in some of the topics I had to comment were very interesting as the "Childhood Series" or "The story or a picture" that were my favorites and I enjoyed writing them. I feel satisfied with the experience because unlike English 2, this one seemed much better. In addition to having to make comments to the blogs of our colleagues I think I could know them a little more because despite not sharing so much in the classroom in the blogs I knew their hobbies, outrage or academic interests. What I thought was a way to make the course more educational and closer. With respect to my writing skills, I think I moved forward because I did not dare to write so much in English before and now that I was able to practice, I think it worked. I liked having the challenge of thinking about what to write and the uncertainty of knowing the subject. In addition we did not use a journalistic language like in the other subjects then it felt a l...

Post 8: An Expert on your Field

The person in the photo is Leila Guerriero, Argentine journalist. She was born in the city of Junín and since 1992 she has been a journalist, started as a magazine editor and is now the editor of the Latin American magazine Gatopardo. I consider her an expert in this area because she writes very well and has worked with super important topics. Besides, she does not just look for the immediacy of the news, Leila concentrates on the characters and their stories. He has written several books such as: "The suicides of the end of the world", "The cursed”, among others. And in each one of them stands out the simple way in which he writes the facts and the closeness he generates between the characters and the reader. Leila Guerriero also stands out for her articles she has written profiles about characters like Nicanor Parra. She like  a woman, is a reference for the journalism because which makes her one of the most important female figures of journalism in Spanish.
